  With it's original lacquer and neck, this 1974 tenor speaks with a definite, clear, centered tone. Several years ago, at the owners request, we changed the springs to the stainless steel variety. The Eb guard has been re-soldered; that is the only other prior repair. It has good pads, cork and felt from top to bottom and is ready for gigging. Some spottiness in the lacquer exists. This VI neither an ugly duckling or a beauty queen. It's in the middle and may be perfect for a serious player that is not too concerned with cosmetics, but demands a great horn.
