  From 1964 this original lacquer Selmer Mark VI low A baritone has the best of both worlds-- An exceptional sound and cosmetics that are top notch. This beautiful bari has an even scale with great projection. The timbre is a not overly dark. Rather it has a healthy sparkle to the sound with a nice, complex mixture of the partials that is focused as opposed to spread. Depending on the choice of mouthpiece, this versatile bari is could easily cover styles that range from R&B/funk to classical. There has good pads throughout; in it's past there were some dents that were smoothed out from the bottom bow, quite nicely. The original case is included.
