  The 85,XXX serial numbers have become the Holy Grails of Mark VI tenor saxes. Manufactured in 1960 this exceptional re-lacquer has a non-numbered Selmer neck. A refined, warm sound is featured and there is no doubt as to why this series is regarded as such a standout. Prior to it's being shipped, a repair will need to be made on the Bb bis key (the pearl has been broken off and is missing) and some pad replacement will also be in order.
