  The model 900u is the predecessor to the current model 901. The "u" indicates that this is a transitional model. The "u" models can be slightly different in design than the 900.This one has it's original lacquer and no prior repairs. A sound with a lively response and a clear presence is featured.The alto is very respectable cosmetically, but it does have signs of use such as worn pearls and some lacquer wear at the touch points.
