Manufactured in 1956. Original lacquer with approximately 80% + of the finish intact.
This tenor has a medium dark sound with a very complex combination of overtones. Even though it's somewhat dark in tone, it has great projection. As you can see, its a very good looking horn and has only minimum amount of the original lacquer missing or blemished. The neck is a serial numbered match with the horn. No soldering repairs have ever been done to this tenor. The pads have plastic resonators and are good from top to bottom.
The combination of age with wonderful cosmetics, most certainly, put this tenor into the premium category.
