  Far more than 50% of the original lacquer remains on this dent free player's horn. We believe that 1959 was the final year for the desireable short bow and that this serial number was one of the last manufactured. This alto does have the matching serial number neck which has been stripped of its lacquer. Sonically the horn has a medium dark timbre and it features a bit of resistance to blow against. We are now in the process of overhauling this alto.
