  This "Connstellation" model is the rarest of all the Conn altos. Manufactured for only two years, this one, with its original lacquer, dates to 1950. The neck, keywork and engraving are different in design than anything from Conn before or after. Also features a double-sleeved receiver on the neck and a uniquely designed underslung octave key. Also unique to this model is its clear plastic pants guard with gold leaf design. Unfortunately, the clothes guard on this horn is broken... but it is still firmly attached to the horn at all 7 screw points. They just don't make plastic the way they used to... luckily. At the moment, this horn has a mix-match of original Reso-Pads and "whatever". Original case included.
