  A less expensive wooden clarinet from Buffet, designed to the same specs as the R-13. Although the R-13 generally sounds slightly superior, company specs don't indicate what the differences are. Identical keyboard and feel to the R-13. A fine design to meet the needs of players on a more limited budget. Occasionally, we run across an E-13 that plays as well as, or even better than, the R-13 clarinet.
